In a 3 part video tutorial, the team at Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning of the University of Melbourne show how to first generate a generic gridshell on any input surface and then input this structure in Karamba to be analyzed. Basic principles such as beam IDs, defining cross sections, defining materials and interpreting results are described in detail. The third tutorial then takes the gridshell and performs a formfinding process.
Note that components such as Naked Vertices, remove Duplicate Lines and remove Duplicate Points are part of the Kangaroo package.
