We are regularly hosting free Karamba3D webinar sessions. We be sharing a series of short tutorials, workflow processes, project presentations and current developments in Karamba3D. Future sessions will also feature some special friends and guests, which we are especially excited about! These sessions will be approximately 40 minutes and are open to anyone who wish to participate. The sessions will also be free of cost. Registration is required and there are limited places available for the live webinar but the recordings will be made available at a later stage on our website.
In this webinar session, Rayaan Ajouz from Bouwen met Staal and ABT will present how KarambaIDEA can be used to extend your workflow. KarambaIDEA is an open-source Grasshopper plug-in developed by the SMARTconnection research project that links Karamba3D with IDEA Statica connection.
For this weeks webinar session, we are super excited to have Nathan Luke from Geometry Gym join us. The webinar will demonstrate some of the integrations Geometry Gym has developed to link Karamba3D directly with external Structural Analysis and BIM applications.

In our third session of the series, Junghwo Park will be showing how rather complex structure in Revit can be analyzed using Karamba3D. He will explain how the geometry will need to be processed in grasshopper before bringing it into Karamba3D.
Continuing on from last weeks session, Junghwo Park will dive deeper into Karamba3D workflow in Revit with RhinoInside. He will show how the Zollamtsbridge example shown by Clemens Preisinger can be brought into Revit. We will go through generating reference planes and Revit beam elements with RhinoInside in Grasshopper.
In this week’s webinar, we will be jumping into Revit where Junghwo Park will introduce Karamba3D and Revit workflow with the current development of RhinoInside by McNeel.
In the last part of the series, we will be finishing with the truss bridges from Otto Wagner. Clemens Preisinger will be detailing the principles of a truss generated from a simple arch and how this allows for efficient truss design.
Following last week’s session, we will be continuing with the set of bridges from Otto Wagner. Clemens Preisinger will be explaining in further detail the Karamba3D setups of the 3d bridge as well as the truss Zollamtsbridge.
