In a 3 part video tutorial, the team at Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning of the University of Melbourne show how to first generate a generic gridshell on any input surface and then input this structure in Karamba to be analyzed. See the first two parts. The tutorial then takes the gridshell and performs a formfinding process using the Large Deformation component.
Note that components such as Naked Vertices, remove Duplicate Lines and remove Duplicate Points are part of the Kangaroo package.
